The 6th National Indigenous Drug and Alcohol Conference (NIDAC20) has been rescheduled to 
Tuesday 23rd – Friday 26th of March 2021

We are proud to announce the rescheduled date for the NIDAC20 conference, all purchased registrations are now valid for these dates and we look forward to seeing you at the Stamford Grand next March 2021.

The National Drug & Alcohol Awards

The National Indigenous Drug and Alcohol Awards and  the Coralie Ober Honour Role were introduced by the National Indigenous Drug and Alcohol Committee in 2012 to provide peer recognition of, and appreciation for, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people working in the alcohol and other drug field.

Categories for the Awards include:

  1. Excellence Award, female and male worker
  2. Remote Worker Award, male and female worker
  3. Encouragement Award, female and male worker
  4. Appreciation Award, male or female non Indigenous worker
  5. Recognition Award, service or program

Recipients of the National Indigenous Drug and Alcohol Awards and the Coralie Ober Honour Roll will be recognised as having made an outstanding contribution to reducing the harms associated with alcohol and other drug use among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The successful recipients of the 2020 Awards and the Honour Roll will be announced and awarded during the dinner at 6th National Indigenous Drug and Alcohol Conference (NIDAC 20) in Glenelg, SA on Thursday 25th of March 2021.

Nominations for these awards are now open and must be received by midnight Friday, 11th of December 2020.
