NIDAC20 – The 6th National Indigenous Drug & Alcohol Conference

March 24, 2021 9:00 am - March 26, 2021 5:00 pm Stamford Grand, Glenelg SA

The 6th National Indigenous Drug and Alcohol Conference (NIDAC20) will be held in Glenelg, South Australia.

This Conference will consist of a three-day event to be held at the Stamford Grand, Glenelg as well as a pre-conference workshop at the Stamford Grand Glenelg proceeding the three day conference.

The theme of this Conference, ‘Pathways to Healing’, acknowledges the great importance placed on healing by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the role that it plays in addressing harmful alcohol and other drug use.

Healing is a complex issue meaning different things to different people. It can take place at different levels, from a body, mind and spirit and/or individual, family and community level. NIDAC20 seeks to explore these complexities and meanings as they relate to addressing harmful alcohol and other drug use.
