Donna Meyers is a proud Gooreng Gooreng (Gureng Gureng) Aboriginal woman from the North Burnett Region in Queensland.
She has had over 24 years of experience in AOD Counselling, Mental Health Nursing and Hypnotherapy.
Her educational background includes Bachelor of Nursing Mental Health (CDU), Diploma of Counselling (Ashely Allan Institute) she is Accredited Advance Clinical Resource Therapy Practitioner and Trainer (Resource Therapy International), Registered Clinical Addiction Hypnotherapist (American Board of Hypnotherapy, Neuro-linguistic programmingPractitioner, Accredited Trainer and Assessor and has a Diploma in Work Health and Safety.
Donna has spent her entire adult life studying and learning and applying the laws of success of healing in Counselling & Hypnotherapy to produce positive outcomes to people who are facing difficulties in their lives, particularly around addiction, trauma and other psychological limiting belief behaviours.
Donna have devoted her career to addressing the needs to help people who are struggling with Mental Health, Addiction and other Wellbeing Issues.
She is a compelling, empowering and compassionate Facilitator /Trainer and Psychotherapist who has helped hundreds of people achieve their optimum recovery in behaviour around Addiction, Trauma and Personal Development.
Donna believes that when Human beings experience trauma or serve life stressors it is not uncommon for lives to unravel.
Donna notes that her greatest passion is bringing healing to people who have been through a traumatic stressful experience.
Donna has worked in the AOD sector form many years, and currently works with the Aboriginal Drugs & Alcohol Drug Council SA as the Project Coordinator for Footsteps Rehabilitation Centre in Port Augusta.
Her vison is to help people find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships so they can know themselves as peaceful, complete, whole and safe.
