Deidre Trewhella

Deidre is a Wakka Wakka/Ularai woman from South East Queensland, currently working in Sydney Local Health District as an Aboriginal Support Worker in the Assertive Community Management team.  Deidre completed the Bachelor of Health Science (Mental Health) from Charles Sturt University’s Djirruwang Program in 2018.

Deidre’s previous work experience has been at Walgett Aboriginal Medical Service as a Health Promotion Officer conducting health promotion activities and events in Walgett, Collarenebri, Goodooga and Lightening Ridge.  Deidre also worked as a Support Officer as part of the Balund-a Program at Tabulam.
