Janet Milera

Janet is a proud Narungga, Adnyamathanha and Kaurna woman from Point Pearce with connections throughout Yorke Peninsula/ Adelaide and Flinders Rangers Region.

Janet is currently employed as the Child and Youth Support Worker within the Aboriginal Community Connect Team. Janet’s role consists of supporting families with young children and adults facing welfare, behavioural, developmental, and social and protection issues.

Janet has a Cert II in Family and Well-Being, Cert IV in Community Development and currently studying Diploma of Counselling.

Janet is passionate about and advocates for working from a culturally appropriate practice.
