Professor Kate Conigrave

Kate is an addiction medicine physician and public health physician.  She cares for patients with alcohol and other drug problems at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and at the Aboriginal Medical Service, Redfern. Kate has worked in partnership with Aboriginal agencies and health professionals for over 15 years. She is joint director of the Centre of Research Excellence: Indigenous Health and Alcohol. Kate has acted as consultant for the World Health Organization and chaired the committee that recently revised the Australian drinking guidelines.
