Kathy Desmond

Kathy is a non-Indigenous woman, originally from Victoria with more than 30 years’ experience working in the community sector.  She came to Far North Queensland in 2016 to be with her adult son and extended family and started working at Gindaja in early 2017.  Kathy is part of the Gindaja’s senior management team (Treatment Services Manager) and has helped to develop and write up Gindaja’s Model of Care and client programs.
