Biography

Natasha Hunt is a proud Mandandanji woman from Roma, Queensland. Her career in Indigenous Health started in January 2020. Natasha is very passionate about her dual role as SEWB/AOD Caseworker for Armajun Aboriginal Health Service Inverell, NSW and is currently studying a Graduate Diploma in Indigenous Health Promotion SEWB. Her personal journey through recovery and healing from some of the adverse hardships in life include addiction, prostitution, mental illness, trauma, homelessness and domestic violence. Her lived experience is able to offer a different level of compassion, empathy and perspective to the support she provides to her community.
