Biography

Sarah is a proud Ngarrindjeri woman with expanding connections throughout the Murray River/ Coorong Region

She is currently employed as the Social and Emotional Wellbeing Worker within the Aboriginal Community Connect Team. Her role consists of AOD counselling and case management to alleviate the addiction and to support my clients working from harm minimization approach.

She covers the Murray Mallee region and work in partnerships with other agencies to ensure the delivery of a culturally appropriate service to our community and clients.

Sarah’s qualifications are in Diploma of Narrative Approaches, Certificate III and IV in Aboriginal Primary Health Care.

Her own personal journey has given her the passion to help, assist and empower individuals and families and communities where issues have impacted on their lives.

She strives to work collaboratively with extended services and stakeholders to ensure our Aboriginal clients and Families are supported in reclaiming their own life’s to enhance and better their own Social and Emotional Wellbeing.
