Shane Bawden

Shane Bawden is a PhD Candidate in the Indigenous Studies Unit, Centre for Health Equity at the University of Melbourne. He comes from a legal studies and social work background. He has a Bachelor of Legal Studies, Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work. Shane has experience working in the primary and secondary health sectors. He has been involved in social justice advocacy, policy development, research and worked collaboratively with Indigenous community organisations in the areas of health and policy.
