Biography

Christy is a social worker with 20 years’ experience providing individual and group based therapeutic interventions with some of the communities most marginalised members.  Christy has worked with people in a broad range of areas including complex mental health, substance abuse and addiction, offending behaviours including violent and sexual offending, complex trauma, and suicide intervention.  She is currently working within a forensic setting offering individual and group-based treatment.  Since 2018, Christy has been co-facilitating the 44 hour Koori Drug and Alcohol program and is passionate about continuing to expand her cultural learning journey with our first nations people.
