The ACT could decriminalise small amounts of illicit drugs next year — but what does that mean for users?

Advocates for drug harm reduction have welcomed a draft bill from an ACT Labor backbencher to decriminalise personal possession of illicit substances, saying it will take pressure off the courts system while giving drug users better access to health services.
