ABOUT

The 6th National Indigenous Drug and Alcohol Conference (NIDAC20) will be held from the 17th – 20th of November 2020 in Glenelg, South Australia.

This Conference will consist of a three-day event as well as a pre-conference workshop. Both events will be held at the Stamford Grand Adelaide, Moseley Square, Glenelg, South Australia.

The theme of this Conference, ‘Pathways to Healing’, acknowledges the great importance placed on healing by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the role that it plays in addressing harmful alcohol and other drug use.

Healing is a complex issue meaning different things to different people. It can take place at different levels, from a body, mind and spirit and/or individual, family and community level. NIDAC20 seeks to explore these complexities and meanings as they relate to addressing harmful alcohol and other drug use.
