Odyssey House Victoria offers the Aboriginal residents a weekly cultural program  that provides opportunity to explore Family history, language music ,arts and crafts, dance ceremony and traditional foods. Buladu-Ngarrgu means Grow Knowledge in the traditional language of the Wurundjeri peoples. our focus is for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait people to learn about there culture and for non-aboriginal people to gain awareness of culture and the struggles that aboriginal people face , this is showcased with a welcome to country and a smoking ceremony for healing self.  Inclusion of the whole therapeuticcommunity  enables everyone to Buladu-Ngarrgu. This program connects aboriginal people with their culture community and services.  At a broader level Buladu-Ngarrgu allows non-aboriginal residents to learn about Aboriginal history, culture and breaking down the barriers , The session will outline what we do in the program and allow other organisations to learn from our experience.
